Leon & wife Ann operate Scott’s (Bendigo) P/L, a steel fabrication enterprise and successful business incubator Mayfair Park Industrial Estate.
Named 2003 Citizen of the Year for City of Greater Bendigo. In 2004 awarded an OAM for Service to his community and Rotary International through work at Kokoda PNG, India and East Timor, where he volunteered and co-ordinated many construction projects.
He was a Councillor of the Borough of Eaglehawk for 8 years; Mayor in 1989-90, serving on many Council Committees.
Since joining the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk in 1976, Leon has been an active member, holding most club positions, devoting much time to projects locally and internationally.
Job creation forms a large part of his community service. There can be no better feeling than assisting someone in obtaining a job or career.

The Rotary E-Club of Melbourne holds its club meetings every first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7.50pm for 8pm start Melbourne time (UTC/GMT + 10 hours). We also hold our Project Planning meetings at the same time on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
Our meetings are open to everyone, including members of the public who want to find out more about our club and Rotarians from other Rotary clubs who wish to do a make-up.
Our meetings are held by default on GoToMeeting (video conferencing online) but are sometimes held in person in Melbourne, Australia.
